It conducts every year Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) and Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination for various posts of Group B and C. Periodical typewriting test in English and Hindi are conducted by the commission also. The commission also recruit persons on the posts of Section Officer, Tax Assistant, Sub Inspector, Audit, Statistical Investigators etc.
